Pimlico Academy

Pimlico Academy, our flagship secondary school, boasts a state of-the-art building, exceptional facilities, dynamic staff and a pioneering curriculum at Key Stage 3 that influences how other schools teach. The basics – literacy, numeracy and positive conduct – underpin every lesson.

Pimlico Academy’s pupils are significantly above the national average in terms of deprivation. The Trust is committed to transforming the life chances of all its pupils. This is reflected in the fact that 70% of the summer 2015 KS4 cohort entered and 37% achieved the academic EBACC qualification (compared to a national success rate of 24%). Of pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium funding, 31% achieved the EBACC in 2015 (compared to the 2014 national figure of 11%).

The Academy was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in 2010, two years after it joined our family.
